Sheffield Data Recovery provides data recovery solutions to both individuals and businesses located in Sheffield, South Yorkshire and throughout the United Kingdom. All recovery services are provided by us at our secure receiving laboratory located at 17th Floor, The Pinnacle, Albion Street, Leeds, LS1 5AA. When you complete either the enquiry form or free diagnostic form, we capture your name, telephone number, email address and information describing your device as well as the issue you are experiencing. We use this information solely for replying to your initial enquiry, to provide diagnoses and quotation(s), and for management of your recovery job. Your contact details are not sold or passed to third parties for marketing. Additionally, we do not engage in direct marketing.
Devices submitted to us are documented upon receipt within our secure laboratory. Upon receipt of a device, only our engineers shall have access to said device. All recovered data is duplicated onto encrypted media for return to you. Once you confirm that you have successfully received your files, we will remove our working copy of the same from storage and destroy it securely. Unless required to do so pursuant to legal obligations or to fulfil the recovery service(s) requested from us, we neither review, utilise nor distribute any data contained on your device.
Your details provided at your initial enquiry will be kept for as long as is needed to manage your recovery job and support our basic business records. Working copies of recovered data are securely deleted after you confirm safe receipt of your files, typically within 14 days of their return.
You may contact us under UK GDPR for a copy of the information that we hold concerning you, or to correct any inaccurate information which we hold regarding you. In addition, you may ask for the deletion of the data that we hold on you when we are no longer required to store such information. To make an application to obtain a copy of the data that we hold on you, or to seek correction or deletion of the same, please contact us by telephone on 0800 689 0668 and we shall respond as soon as possible. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
There are no cookies used on this site for advertising purposes and no tracking cookies. Google Fonts, which supplies the fonts on this site, may retain standard technical request data (such as your IP address) when providing them.
